Fun, fun, fun
The web is filled with strange and funny sites, and as I also like a good
laugh here are some of those I enjoyed most. Some of these site were
collected by the German tv science magazine
Quarks & Co.
- Bad day
The famous movie of a guy frustrated by his computer taking action.
It's only sad it is a fake, but that doesn't limit the fun it creates.
- Toaster against strawberry cake
How does it look like if a strawberry cake is toasted - the toaster didn't
survive this experiment, so don't try this at home.
- Monty Python
As you may have guessed from the above I most like a little bit strange
humor, just what the great Monty Python made in the 70's.
- Dilbert
You don't know Dilbert yet? Well, he's a programmer who has to fight incompetent
superiors, strange company decisions and of course similarly strange colleagues.
If you're a little bit computer-literate you'd have a great laugh every day.
Alternatively you can check out the daily
Peanuts
comic strip at the same site.
- Parkverbot and
Warmduscher

Satiric views on many things like commercials, private homepages, German
language etc. - but if you don't speak German you won't understand anything.

Auto translation programs can produce really funny texts, and this brochure
seems to be generated by a rather bad one. Nearly every computer technical term
is translated word-by-word, so host adapter became "Gastgeber Zwischenstück",
absolute nonsense in German.
But you really need to know German to have a good laugh about it.
- IQ-Test online
Well, it fits nowhere else, and I found it funny to test my IQ while surfing
the web - but now I have to contact Mensa.
- RC5-64 key cracking effort
Your computer is probably bored most of the time it is on as it needs
it's real computing power only when you're playing games, so why not donate
the unused computing time by joining thousands of other systems cracking
a key by brute force.
